I remember Darcy as a lovely, lively girl at Whitchurch School. Her dad invited me to a Watford football match, our families all supporting our local (from where we used to live) team, the Hornets. Darcy came too. It was one of my more surreal moments being in my brother, Nick Pounce’s house, having lunch before the game. We went with him and his friend Vince (whose language embarrassingly put several 50p’s in the cookie jar). Promotion to the Premiership followed, as it has, ironically, again this year. Nick sends his thoughts for your family also, as do Tim, Greta and Clovis. Go well, beautiful girl, God bless you and your family.
