Darcy I’ve not known what to say since I heard the sad news of your passing. I’m so desperately sad that the world wasn’t a kinder place for you. I will never forget the first time I met you, you coming to nursery for a visit with mum and Karli your personality and smile stuck out instantly. You quickly became everyone friend with many a dispute at snack or story time over who sat next to you. We were always told not to have favourites but you were one of mine and my shadow. Being lucky enough to continue that relationship when you started school, you running out in the the playground at home time bags in tow and 9 times out of 10 forgetting your blazer or something else. You use to make me laugh getting changed for swimming in the back of the car and sitting there in your things goggles and all. You were the best company and will always be 5yrs old to me. A smile that would light up a room and a personality to match. Go shine bright kiddo, sometimes the world just isn’t meant for someone as beautiful as you. Rest easy Diddy. Katie xx
